Complete Denture Fabrication
I have gained hands-on experience in the full fabrication process of complete dentures—from preliminary impressions and bite registration to wax try-ins and final processing. I am confident in setting teeth, contouring wax for esthetics and function, and ensuring proper occlusion. My training emphasized both accuracy and efficiency, with attention to patient comfort and lab quality standards.
Partial Denture Fabrication
I have worked on both acrylic and cast partial dentures, gaining experience in surveying, designing frameworks, and setting teeth for optimal function and esthetics. I’m familiar with the fabrication steps including block-out, duplication, and wax-up for metal frameworks, as well as clasp placement and finishing techniques. My approach balances precision, retention, and patient comfort.
Removable Appliances
I have fabricated a range of removable appliances including Hawley and clear retainers, mouthguards, and bleaching trays. My training included taking accurate impressions, trimming and adapting thermoplastic materials, and ensuring proper fit and comfort. I’m confident in using both manual and vacuum-forming techniques to produce functional, esthetic, and patient-friendly appliances.
Fixed Appliances
I have experience fabricating single-unit crowns and multi-unit bridges using both traditional and digital techniques. My work includes wax pattern design, investing, casting, and contouring for metal restorations, as well as layering and finishing for aesthetic cases. I’m also familiar with scanning, designing, and milling workflows in CAD/CAM systems, ensuring precision and function in fixed prostheses.
Repairs and Enhancements
I have hands-on experience in relining and repairing removable prosthetics, ensuring optimal fit and function for patients. My skills include assessing the condition of dentures, performing adjustments, and utilizing appropriate materials for effective repairs. Additionally, I am experienced in adding teeth to partial dentures and incorporating clasps for improved retention and functionality. I also conduct chairside adjustments to enhance patient comfort and satisfaction, demonstrating a commitment to maintaining high standards of quality in every aspect of dental care.
